Focused on family or other immediate needs or interests? We rarely publicly complain about the political world we reside in. In Texas, through gerrymandering, Republicans have reconfigured South Texas so that once Democratic voting counties are paired with consistent Republican-voting Counties. It has worked and diluted our vote strength. And it is being reflected in a major right shift in all state policies. On November 5th we have a great opportunity to take those regions back.
